Pierre Wahlström´s Christmas greetings 2008

Once again, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, to all my friends around the world. This year has been pretty hectic, my focus has been, being together with my family, build up my wife’s new company, www.vipdog.se and to continue the hard work to be one part in building the breeding programme in the Swedish Armed Forces, for German Shepherds. After 2007 I was pretty tired of training dogs and compete. My motivation has not yet returned 100 %, but I have found a new ”partner” in my new dog Figo. We shall see, maybe I’m trying to focus on WUSV 2009??

During 2008, Imzedrifts Index was the best IPO dog in Sweden, Imzedrifts Jenta got SchH2, Imzedrifts Maxxa competed IPO 3 in the Norwegian championships, Imzedrift's Matrix got SchH2, Imzedrifts Malte got his SchH 2, Imzedrifts Nexa got SchH2, Imzedrifts Noggy is selected for the Swedish championships, Imzedrifts Niska get SchH 2, Imzedrifts Icy got the highest class in the Swedish tracking and protection. I send my best gratitude’s to the handlers and the people around them.

Another thing which for me today is really thrilling is to get information involved the FCI/WUSV organisation. I have during the last years had possibilities to join the judges meetings. This has for me been really interesting, to meet well educated people with a lot of experience and knowledge. As a trainer and judge I would like to give my opinion about the performance and judge’s view. The IPO/SchH sport has now an excellent opportunity to place the sport the world around, where it ought to be. The people, who have a leading position in different organisations, are highly respected and have the humility to understand the best for the sport and breeding. I look forward to follow this work with the rules for 2010.
